In 2002,
Fox Carnival used lightweight poles as our central medium. They
were easy to manage, fun to decorate and they provided
a flexible, fantastic show.
We especially liked the way the poles
worked on the road.
So, in 2003,
our poles became flag poles. For this year's theme of "Flag
it Up!",
we also made a return to digital art.
Every child designed his or her own flag on the computer, then the
designs were printed onto fabric. When mounted on lightweight poles
2.5
meters in height, these flags were easily carried and waved by
the individual makers.
"Flag It Up!" flew its Carnival theme high above
our heads. |
